In 1913, he enrolled in the Baia Mare School of Painting. In 1920, he participated in joint exhibitions with Ferenczy Károly, Tibor Boromisza, and Ziffer Sándor. From 1937, for a short period, he served as vice president of the Baia Mare Artists’ Association alongside Ziffer Sándor.
The Baia Mare landscape by the painter represents a composition in which natural and urban elements intertwine, once again featuring the emblematic silhouette of the Reformed Church set against the well-known backdrop of the Baia Mare hills. Husovszky János knew how to capture the freshness of light using the impressionist technique, depicting both historical buildings and plant elements.
