The painting proposes a perspective from three registers, the median one proposes a view in which the vegetation frames and highlights the window of his workshop located in the Réti/Grünwald pavilion built in 1904 in the Colony of Painters. Green, the dominant color of the Colony’s court due to its rich vegetation, is complemented by the artist’s ”green period”.
