Studies

Degree in Graphics at the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca (2000) and in Political Studies at the Faculty of European Studies Babes-Bolyai University Cluj Napoca (2000), then followed the Master Professionnel, Engineering, Mediation Culturelle, University of Nice Sophia- Antipolis, France (2002) and Master’s studies in Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of European Studies Babes-Bolyai University Cluj Napoca (2002). He holds a PhD in Information Communication, I3M Research Laboratory, University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France (2006).

 

Professional activity

For 9 years he has been in charge of the Baia Mare Branch of UAPR and for 18 years he has been a full professor at the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca at the Photo-Video Study Line and associate professor at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis France from 2005 until also present at Ecole Com-Sup, Casablanca Morocco during 2009-2013. In the period 2012-2016 he was a local councilor of Baia Mare Municipality. He is a member of the I3M Research Laboratory, Cote D’Azur University, Nice, France.
As the infrastructure of the cultural spaces, he coordinated the rehabilitation project of the Painters’ Colony and the rehabilitation project of the Baia Mare Art Gallery. He has organized large-scale cultural events in the field of visual arts, music and other related fields. He has participated in group and group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
