Adrian Vasile CHIRA
In 1987 he graduated from the Cluj-Napoca Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Mechanics, specializing in Machine Building Technology, obtaining the degree of Mechanical Engineer (head of promotion), and in 2004 he obtained a degree in Arts at the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Fine Arts, Photo – Video Specialization – Computer Image Processing. In 2012 he obtained the title of Doctor in Plastic and Decorative Arts at the West University of Timişoara, Faculty of Arts with the paper.
Starting with 1991, he became a teacher at the North University of Baia Mare at the Faculty of Mechanics, and since 2004 he has been teaching as an associate professor at the Plastic Arts (Painting) specialization within the Faculty of Letters. He is currently an Associate Professor PhD at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca – North University Center of Baia Mare.
He is the author of two books (courses) published in 2014 and 2018. He has a significant number of scientific articles published in journals indexed in international databases, as well as reproductions of works of art published in numerous reference catalogs.
He holds a number of 6 personal photography exhibitions and participates in over 80 group and group exhibitions both in the country and abroad.
In 2016, he was awarded the Digital Art Award at the International Salon of Visual Arts Teachers in Iași and the Artist of the Year Award 2016 – (Baia Mare Branch of UAP in Romania and the Local Council and Baia Mare Municipality). In 2017 he received the distinction of Professor Bologna – awarded by the National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania (ANOSR).
